The R72 filter is a specialized filter used for IR infrared photography that blocks visible light and allows infrared light to pass through. Use filter with film that is Infrared Sensitive. Compensate by opening up approx. 5 f-stops.

Tips for using a r72 filter
- Choose the right day: For best results, shoot on a day when the sun is bright, but there may be some clouds.
- Include certain elements: Look for scenes that include water, a blue sky and green vegetation.
- Use a camera with manual focus: A camera with a manual focus lens is recommended.
- Use a tripod: A tripod is recommended.
